Subject: Soy

My breast surgeon says it is beneficial for me to eat soy. My medical
oncologist says the jury is still out on this one but he believes it has beneficial
value too. I told him I was subbing soy for dairy products so he said to eat
everything in moderation. Did you know that even tomatoes have estrogen
qualities to it? Are we not going to put the line somewhere? I eat everything in
moderation and I watch for transfatty acids and partially hydrogenated oils in
ingredients. I cut back on my soy milk, substituted almond milk and cut back on
my tofu dishes. I refuse to cut back on all my food or there would be nothing
else to eat. Just do a search on estrogen in foods. It comes up with everything
you eat.
